In the past year and half waiting has been a major theme in our lives. There have been so many unknowns and boy, have we learned a little on patience!! We have waited for this baby, waited for work/job progress, and waited as we sold and bought our house. It wasn't all that easy, but God is faithful and provided us with the hope we needed. Our amazing families have been so supportive and helpful as well. As I sit here today, almost 30 weeks pregnant, I find myself anxiously waiting again. Waiting to meet this little girl... Waiting to see our families develop and roles change (parents to grandparents, siblings to aunts/uncles, etc.) Waiting to see my husband become a father (and a GREAT one he will be)... Waiting for spring and signs of new life... Waiting for a 12 week break from work :-)... Waiting for that big juicy turkey hoagie and DIET Coke... Waiting to dye my hair again... Waiting to wear pants that zipper and button...
Ok, those last couple were a little selfish, but you get the idea! We have so much to be thankful for and so much to look forward to that it is overwhelming! But waiting for God's plan and direction to play out has been sooooo worth it! Here's to waiting 10 more weeks...
Oh, Eden is getting a lecture at 37 weeks. She is welcome to make an appearance anytime after she is full term! I keep telling her, a week early would be great! Wouldn't it be nice to have a little Easter bunny home in time for Easter this year?!
